LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta will unite with its seven sister attractions across the world this November to celebrate the joy of learning to build a LEGO model with a Guinness World Record first.
On Thursday, November 15, Guinness World Record Day, the children’s attractions will be holding a day of model building as they attempt to beat the Guinness Word Record for the “largest lesson using interlocking plastic bricks” (or master model builder’s workshop, to fans of the attraction).
The eight especially recruited Master Model Builders based in Atlanta, Berlin, Chicago, Dallas, Duisberg, Kansas City, Manchester and Tokyo have put their heads together and selected three models for the world’s LEGO fans to vote on for the lessons. Voters are asked to choose between a turkey, a Christmas train and a rocking horse.
Fans can vote on the center’s Facebook page and they will soon have the opportunity to get even more involved and sign up to take part in the lessons on the day. The vote will run until Friday, October 12.
