Can I book a birthday party online?

We want to make your birthday party at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center one to remember so we need to talk to you to get all details for your special day, which is why we book all our birthday parties via our birthday booking line, 847-592-9708.

Are adults free for birthday parties?

No, LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a family attraction and offers activities for both adults and children of all ages. This is why we ask that all party guest pay admission, even the adults, which is why we offer a 50% discount for party guests over the age of 13.

When do I get the birthday party photo?

All party packages include a voucher for a free Birthday Party Photo. It is your responsibility to gather your guests in our photo area when you are ready to take your photo in front of the green screen.

Will there be a host for my party?

No, LEGOLAND Discovery Center does not provide a party host or chaperone to walk you through the Center. However, we do provide a party assistant to serve food, beverage and cake during your party room time.

What if I want to do a drop off party?

We recommend having at least 1 adult for every 5 children.

What if I don’t know how many people I plan on having?

We strictly adhere to our party room capacities due to Fire Safety laws. If you have additional guests who are added after the time of booking or on the day of the party, please note that they may not be allowed in your party room.

When do my party guests have to arrive?

All party guests must arrive at the same time before they are allowed admittance into the attraction. If you have guests who will not make your scheduled arrival time, please provide us with a guest list 3 days prior to the party.

Can I order additional food on the day of the party?

Any additional food items must be ordered 7 days prior to the party date, additional food may not be added on the day of your party. However you are allowed to purchase food from our café at your own discretion.

What do I do if my child or a party guest has food allergies?

Children with food allergies are permitted to bring in their own food for that individual child only. Any other outside food or beverage is not allowed into the Center.

Can I bring in my own decorations?

Our party room is LEGO themed; however we do offer an assortment of balloon options for an additional charge.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center offers two party rooms to suit your needs.

Your party room time varies on the package you choose. The Red Brick Package offers you 1 hour in the private party room, the Blue and Gold Brick Packages offer you 90 minutes in the private party room and include additional activities.

Please note, the party room time is for cake and food. We recommend at least 2-3 additional hours to visit the Center, rides, and attractions.

Please note: If your party exceeds 40 people, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you as best we can. The balloons are provided by an outside vendor and are not included in the party room décor.

Birthday Club

During your birthday month, the birthday child (under the age of 12) receives one free admission. An email with the coupon will be sent the month prior to the birthday.
