LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago is a LEGO® family attraction for kids aged 3-10, with rides, 4D cinema and a variety of top LEGO attractions.
We recommend you allow at least 2-3 hours to visit the attraction, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like!
Unfortunately adults are unable to visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center unless they are accompanied by a child - see our Adult Nights for all adult LEGO fans.

Standard opening hours:
- Monday - Friday: 12pm - 7pm (last admission 5pm)
- Saturday - Sunday: 10am - 7pm (last admission 5pm)
Please allow at least 2 - 3 hours for your visit, although you are welcome to stay as long as you like. The last admission to the attraction is 2 hours before closing. The LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Store is open daily 10am – 7pm.

Public transportation from downtown Chicago: Take the CTA Blue Line to the Rosemont Station. Transfer to the Route 606 Pace bus. Exit at Woodfield Mall. LEGOLAND Discovery Center is located directly across the street.

Here at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago we have a café where you can take a break to enjoy drinks and snacks. We do ask guests not to bring their own food to the attraction, other than for babies and children with allergies.

We have full access for disabled visitors, including elevator access to our upper floor.
The center has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access.
For Guests with Autism, LEGOLAND Discovery Center offers great tactile activities including building with bricks. There are strobe lights in the 4D Cinema, there are lasers in the Kingdom Quest ride, and the Center can be loud and hectic with lots of children playing and having fun.

Common questions
What is the best time to visit?
It does depend on the day, but generally the LEGOLAND Discovery Center is quietest after 2pm.
It is quietist midweek during the school year and on Sunday afternoon during the weekends.
Like any popular attraction we have to limit the number of guests at any one time. The best way of ensuring your place is by booking your tickets in advance (it will cost less too)!
Can adults visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center without any children?
Sorry, no. Adults must be accompanied by children to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Center. We will host adult nights for our Adult Fans of LEGO without children.
Can children visit the Center without an adult?
No, all children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
Are visits guided?
No. The typical visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Sorry, we don't allow anything other than baby food/milk.
We have a Café in the center with a wide variety of food and snacks (including healthy options) to choose from.
Is the Center suitable for Guests with Disabilities / wheelchair users?
Yes, we are fully accessible for Guests with Disabilities and wheelchair users.
Is the Center suitable for Guests with Autism?

Are your staff first aid trained?
Yes. We ensure that there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center who are trained in first aid.

We are stroller friendly and have family restrooms with diaper changing facilities.
