LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas City has joined all the LEGOLAND Discovery Centers around the world to launch the MINI APPRENTICE competition!
Kids who are huge LEGO® fans can apply to win the chance to help run our Kansas City attraction for a day!
Successful Mini Apprentice candidates will get the exclusive chance to job shadow different roles including the Master Model Builder! Other important jobs the Mini Apprentice will undertake include presenting the Factory Tour, checking the speed of the slides in the play area and testing the laser guns on our Kingdom Quest ride!
So how do you apply for MINI APPRENTICE?
With the help of a parent or guardian, kids between the ages of 6 and 12 can apply to be a MINI APPRENTICE by creating a short video resume explaining:
Then upload the video to YouTube. Once they receive a URL, they will post the YouTube URL to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City’s Facebook Wall.
Alternatively, children can complete a short essay (no more than 100 words), and post to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City’s Facebook Wall.
Videos may be shared across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube sites, so make sure to keep an eye out and share your video with your friends! The final three will be given the prestigious title of being a LEGOLAND Discovery Center MINI APPRENTICE.
Applications will be accepted until midnight on July 31st, with successful applicants completing work placements in early August.
