Holly-Jolly-Holiday Celebration Comes to LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester Every Weekend in December

11th December, 2013

[December 4, 2013 – Yonkers, NY] – Something magical is happening at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester this December as tiny LEGO® brick snowmen and reindeer begin popping up throughout the attraction during Holly-Jolly-Holiday! Starting December 7th and continuing every weekend in December, guests are invited to spread holiday cheer by participating in activities such as searching for hidden snowmen in MINILAND, helping LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester build a Winter Town with LEGO® creations, and learning how to build a LEGO® brick reindeer in the Master Builder Academy.

"There is nothing more heartwarming than to watch our youngest visitors’ faces when they find a LEGO® brick snowman hidden somewhere in our LEGO® replica of Westchester County and New York City, or when they learn how to put tiny antlers on their LEGO® brick reindeer," said Chris Mines, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. "We are really looking forward to continuing the holiday season – in LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester-style."

Of course, guests will also get to enjoy the attraction’s range of interactive experiences, including its 4D cinema, two LEGO amusement rides and MINILAND – the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of LEGO bricks. Free Wi-Fi is available for parents at the attraction.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is a $12 million, 32,300 square-foot indoor attraction featuring more than 3 million LEGO bricks, geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families. Its range of educational and interactive attractions will include hands-on play areas, a 4D cinema, the Master Builder Academy, two LEGO amusement rides, special party rooms and MINILAND — the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of more than 1 million LEGO bricks.
