LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester Brings the Spooks and Surprises this Halloween with Brick-or-Treat from October 12th through 31ST

12th October, 2013

[October XX, 2013 - Yonkers, NY] — A ghoulishly good time is brewing at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester with Brick-or-Treat beginning October 12th through October 31st. Little ghosts and mummies are invited for a spook-tacular experience at the attraction in Westchester’s Ridge Hill, Yonkers.

“We are excited for our first Halloween at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Kids will love the Halloween spin on their favorite activities and we invite parents to participate in their Halloween costumes as well,” said Chris Mines, General Manager of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester.

Guests who wear their Halloween costumes will receive $3 off the price of walk-up admission—including adults. Children are invited to brick-or-treat for LEGO® bricks around the Center and collect enough bricks to create a special jack-o-lantern figure* to take home.

In addition to all the favorite LEGOLAND® Discovery Center activities, guests can create their own LEGO® monsters to populate Monster Town, as well as learn how to build a LEGO® scarecrow at the Master Builder Academy. Guests are reminded to keep their eyes peeled for hidden monsters throughout the MINILAND scavenger hunt and can enter to win a family four-pack of Annual Passes.

All activities taking place during brick-or-treat are included in the price of admission to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. Annual pass holders will be invited to attend an exclusive preview event prior to the general public on Friday, October 11th

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is a $12 million, 32,300 square-foot indoor attraction featuring more than 3 million LEGO bricks, geared towards children ages 3-10 and their families.  Its range of educational and interactive attractions will include hands-on play areas, a 4D cinema, the Master Model Builder Academy, two LEGO amusement rides, special party rooms and MINILAND — the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of more than 1 million LEGO bricks.  Advance tickets and annual passes to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester are available online.  To purchase tickets and annual passes, or for more information, visit www.LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com/Westchester/.  For group sales call 866-243-0770.  Follow us at www.facebook.com/LDCWestchester and www.twitter.com/LDCWestchester.  LEGOLAND Discovery Center is part of the Merlin Entertainments Group.
