The LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is a world of entertainment, color and creativity for families with children aged 3-10. We offer a wealth of attractions, 2 rides, 4D cinema and more! The average visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay and play as long as you like.

We are a family attraction. Adults must be accompanied by a child with the exception of Adult Nights. Please note: Visitors must purchase tickets one or more days in advance to benefit from online discount and to guarantee entry. Children under 2 yrs visit for free. Prices vary dependent on visit date. Flexi ticket valid from date of purchase.

Attraction Hours of Operation:

  • Sunday - Thursday: 10am – 7pm (last ticket sold at 5pm)
  • Friday – Saturday: 10am – 9pm (last ticket sold at 7pm)

Please allow at least 2 - 3 hours for your visit, although you are welcome to stay as long as you like. The last admission to the attraction is 2 hours before closing.

I-87 South Exit Stew Leonard Drive/Ridge Hill Road.
Turn left at second crossover bridge onto Ridge Hill Blvd. 
Make a left onto Archer Ave. 
Continue straight through the light. 
Make a left onto Otis Dr. 
Park in North Otis Dr. Garage.

From the South: 

I-87 North Exit 6A Stew Leonard Drive/Ridge Hill Blvd. 
Turn right on Ridge Hill Road.

Public Transportation:
If traveling by train take the Metro North Hudson Line train to the Yonkers stop then take the #78 Bus at Getty Square to Ridge Hill.
If traveling by bus, transfer at Getty Square, Yonkers to the #78, which goes to Ridge Hill. Other buses within Yonkers that go to Getty Square are #1W, #1C, #1T, #2, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #25, #30 & #32.

  • From Mt. Vernon - Take #7 to Getty Square and transfer to #78 to Ridge Hill
  • From Eastchester - Take #40 to Mt. Vernon, transfer to #7 to Getty Square, transfer to #78 to Ridge Hill

Take a break from all the playing! Pull up a chair in our kid friendly café, where you can purchase a beverage, snack, or even a meal! 

We ask that guests refrain from bringing their own food into the center, other than for babies and children with allergies.

The Center has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access.

FAQs

When is the best time to visit?

It does depend on the day, generally the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is quietest midweek.

Like any popular attraction we have to limit the number of guests at any one time. The best way of ensuring your child’s place is by booking your tickets in advance (it will cost less too)!

Are adults able to visit LEGOLAND® Discovery Center without a child?

Our attraction is tailored to families with children ages 3-10 years old. Adults must be accompanied by a child to enter LEGOLAND® Discovery Center.

We will host adult nights for our more mature LEGO® fans the first Thursday of every month.

Can children visit the Center without an adult?

No, all children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

Are visits guided?

No. The typical visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Sorry, we only allow baby food/milk.

Our café, in the Center offers a variety of food and snacks to choose from.

Is the Center suitable for disabled visitors / wheelchair users?

Yes, we are fully accessible for disabled visitors and wheelchair users (see Our Facilities on this page).

Are your staff first aid trained?

Yes, health and safety is very important to us. We ensure that there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center, Westchester who are trained in first aid.

What about children younger than three years old?

Children under 3 years old are free!

We are stroller friendly, with family bathrooms equipped with diaper changing facilities.

Does LEGOLAND® Discovery Center, Westchester have height requirements?

A few of our attractions do have height requirements.

Guests must be a minimum of 3’ tall to ride Merlin’s Apprentice. Guests between 3’ tall and 4’ tall must ride with an adult.

A maximum height limit of 3’ applies to the Construction Site, but Fire Academy is suitable for all children up to 4 ½'.
