We recommend you allow at least 2-3 hours to visit the attraction, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like!

Public transportation from downtown Chicago: Take the CTA Blue Line to Rosemont Station. Transfer to the Route 606 Pace bus. Exit at Northwest Transportation Center. LEGOLAND Discovery Center is located directly across the street.
Here at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Chicago we have a café where you can take a break to enjoy drinks and snacks. We do ask guests not to bring their own food to the attraction, other than for babies and children with allergies.
To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. All guests buying tickets online OR at the door will be required to make a reservation for an entry time, just the same as if you were going to the movies!

Please note during peak periods such as holidays, spring break and summer there may be a small wait upon entering the line.
If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. You will then enter the 'I Have Tickets' line at your reservation time.
Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. The only way to guarantee your entry is to purchase your tickets in advance online.

We have full access for disabled visitors, including elevator access to our upper floor.
The center has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access.
For Guests with Autism, LEGOLAND Discovery Center offers great tactile activities including building with bricks. There are strobe lights in the 4D Cinema, there are lasers in the Kingdom Quest ride, and the Center can be loud and hectic with lots of children playing and having fun.

What counts is that my two year old had fun and could've stayed in the play area all day. Surprisingly, he enjoyed the movie too. (He actually sat thru it.). With that said, I would've been upset if I had to pay the $21 admission fee. Thankfully, we bought ahead online, as the savings made it worth it.
