18th September, 2013
Prepare for a force-filled weekend as LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester and Stars Wars™ team up for the LEGO Star Wars™ Days MINILAND takeover weekend at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester on Saturday, September 21st and Sunday, 22nd. Annual Pass members are invited to attend an exclusive preview event kicking off the weekend’s activities on Friday, September 20th. Fans are invited to enjoy the weekend’s LEGO themed Star Wars™ events in the attraction at Westchester’s Ridge Hill, Yonkers.
MINILAND will be transformed as Star Wars™ descends upon the heart of New York with some of the most famous scenes from A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi that all Star Wars™ fans are sure to recognize. X-Wing and A-Wing ships will hang above in a space battle. Visit the iconic opening scene where the droids land in the Tatooine desert and the epic battle of the Hoth. AT-AT Walkers will take over Central Park and of course, the Millennium Falcon will loom over New York City. The Star Wars™ takeover wouldn’t be complete without a recreation of the Ewok Village and, of course, Jabba the Hutt’s palace.
Join us for fun-filled LEGO Star Wars™ activities including: a scavenger hunt—tap into your inner Jedi Master clue-hunter and search through MINILAND and enter for a chance to win a Family Pack of Annual Passes; join in on the build of a six-foot tall Yoda model at the LEGO® Master Builder Academy and create other Star Wars™ mini figures. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet members of the 501st Legion in their full regalia—pictures are encouraged!
All activities taking place during LEGO Star Wars™ Days, with the exception of pictures, are included in the price of admission to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester.
