Accessibility Guide

The center has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access. Please note, some areas of the attraction include flashing lights and scents. 

Please note adults must be accompanied by at least one child (aged 17 and under) in their party to visit the attraction.

Visitors with Disabilities or Special Needs

Visitors with reduced mobility

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago is wheelchair accessible. Our elevator is located near Kingdom Quest - just look for the yellow and red stripes! Guests in wheelchairs are welcome to ride Kingdom Quest! Guest must be able to sit upright without assistance. The 4D Theater provides several front-row spaces for wheelchairs.

Storage of Special Products

Size permitting, oxygen tanks are permitted on Kingdom Quest. For safety, oxygen tanks are not permitted on Merlin’s Apprentice.

Visitors with Visual Impairments

The 4D Theater uses strobe lighting and is not recommended for guests with medical conditions. Guests with impaired vision may request guidance as needed.

Visitors with Hearing Impairments

The 4D Theater provides several front-row spaces for wheelchairs and scripts are available upon request.

Strobe Warning

The 4D Theater and other areas use strobe lighting or quickly flashing lights and are not recommended for guests with epilepsy or photo-sensitivities.
