LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTER ATTRACTION

Adults must be accompanied at least one child (age 17 or younger) in their party in order to enter. The attraction is best suited for children ages 3-10.

For Adult Fans of LEGO (who do not have children), we host exclusive adult-only evenings with additional activities, programming and competitions to enhance the experience for older guests.

LEGO® STORE

Our LEGO Store is open to the public and everyone, including adults without children, may enter. The store is directly adjacent to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center attraction.

All children (17 and under) must be accompanied by an adult (18+) and supervised at all times.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. The best way of ensuring your family's entry is by reserving your tickets online! We do not permit re-entry. 

Guests that are a half hour late or more for their reservation will enter the "Digital & Printed Tickets" line but may experience a longer than usual wait time. Rest assured; we'll do our best to get you in as quickly as possible.

We encourage families to interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play, and therefore visits are not guided. The typical visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.

We do not allow outside food or beverage inside of LEGOLAND Discovery Center. 

LEGOLAND Discovery Center encourages guests to enjoy delicious snacks as well as coffee beverages and ice cold sodas in our Coffee Shop. 

Please note, Coffee Shop hours vary and at times the Coffee Shop may be closed. 

Yes, we are fully accessible for visitors with disabilities and wheelchair users. We do not provide wheelchair or stroller rentals at our attraction.

Yes. We ensure that there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center who are trained in first aid.

We are stroller friendly, with family bathrooms with diaper changing facilities.

We recommend guests purchase tickets online in advance for the best price and to guarantee their entry. Please visit our ticket page for all ticket options as well as date and time availability.

Advanced Purchase - Guaranteed Entry

• Upon your arrival to the Center, you will enter the "Digital & Printed Tickets" line at the start of your reservation.
• Please note during peak periods such as holidays, Spring break and Summer there may be a wait upon entering the reservation line.

Walk-Up Tickets

• If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. The only way to guarantee your entry is to reserve your tickets online.
• Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. 
• We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to guarantee your entry and to receive the best price. 

Once inside, stay as long as you like.

When booking your ticket you will be asked to select a date and time for your arrival. This helps us make your experience more enjoyable by reducing queue times, speeding up your entry into the attraction, and reducing crowding. Once inside the attraction, you may stay as long as you like! 

Children under the age of 2 are free! If the online ticket package doesn't prompt you to add a free ticket for them, we'll add one for you at the door when you arrive. 

For the best price, book online at least 24 hours in advance of your visit. Prices per ticket vary by day and by ticket type. Pricing subject to change based on availability.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. There are 15 minute windows between reservation times to control capacity in the attraction.  This creates a better experience for all our guests! 

During peak times, you may experience a wait in the "Digital & Printed Tickets" line as guests enter the Center.   

Guests that are a half hour late or more for their reservation will enter the "Digital & Printed Tickets" line but may experience a longer than usual wait time.

If your LEGOLAND Discovery Center + PEPPA PIG World of Play combo ticket was purchased before 28th February, 2026 and remains valid, it will be accepted for entrance to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago. Admission is subject to the general terms and conditions associated with both the ticket and LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago.

Yes, you may use your annual pass for entry to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago, following the terms and conditions set at the time of purchase and the general terms and conditions of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago. 

Yes, you can still use any gift ticket that was issued before 28th February, 2026. These tickets are accepted at any (Merlin Entertainment Group site), provided the ticket is still valid according to its terms. However, please note that gift tickets from PEPPA PIG World of Play issued on or after 28th February, 2026 cannot be redeemed at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago. 

Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation tickets issued prior to February 28, 2026, will be accepted at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and LEGO Discovery Center sites under the terms and conditions that applied at the time of issuance, along with the terms and conditions of the specific LEGOLAND Discovery Center or LEGO Discovery Center site where the ticket will be used.

Currently, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago store does not operate the LEGO® Insider program. As a result, earning and redeeming points at this location are not available for now. However, we expect this to change, so please stay tuned for future updates. 

At this time, LEGO^® gift cards purchased from LEGO.com or LEGO Stores cannot be used at the LEGOLAND^® Discovery Center Chicago Store. We understand this may be disappointing, and we are actively working to enable the use of LEGO gift cards at the  LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago Store in the future.
