Effective 28th February, the LEGO Group acquired LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers and LEGO® Discovery Centers from the Merlin Entertainment Group. As a result, LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio is no longer associated with the Merlin Entertainment Group and is not affiliated with any Merlin Entertainment venues, including SEA LIFE, and other related locations.
Planning A Visit
Adults must be accompanied by children (17 and under) to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Center. We will host exclusive adult nights for our Adult Fans of LEGO without children!
Discounted validated public parking is available at the admission desk for the Crockett Street and the Commerce Street parking garages.
Bring your printed parking ticket to our front desk to receive 2 hours of parking for only $3.
- For health and safety reasons, expectant mothers should not ride.
- Merlin’s Apprentice: Guests must be 36 inches to ride. Guests must be 48 inches to ride alone. Guests between 36 and 48 inches must ride with someone 48 inches or taller.
- Kingdom Quest: All guests must be able to walk onto the ride and sit upright unaided. No infants carried in arms and no lap-sitting. Guests under 51 inches in height and younger than 4 years of age must have an adult sitting with them in the same row.
- Virtual Reality: All guests must be 40 inches to ride.
- Loose articles are not permitted on our rides for your safety. This includes purses, handbags, shopping bags, cross-body bags as well as any items that are hand-held. Cell phones and cameras must be secured in a pocket and cannot be held.
- Food and drink are not permitted on our rides.
- All riders must be wearing shoes.
- Guests in wheelchairs must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle in order to ride.
- Service animals are not permitted on rides.

Tickets
To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be inside LEGOLAND Discovery Center at one time. All guests buying tickets online OR at the door will be required to make a reservation for an entry time.
Advanced Purchase - Best Value and Guaranteed Entry
- Upon your arrival to the Center, you will enter the "I Have Tickets" line at the start of your reservation.
- Please note during peak periods such as holidays, Spring break and Summer there may be a small wait upon entering the reservation line.
Walk-Up Purchase
- If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. You will enter the 'I Have Tickets' line at the start of your reserved entry time. The only way to guarantee your entry is to reserve your tickets online.
- Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. The only way to guarantee your entry is to purchase your tickets on advance online.
Once inside, you may stay as long as you like.

Reserved tickets are any tickets purchased on our website or at LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
Unreserved tickets are tickets purchased or received from our third party partners. Guests with unreserved tickets may visit at any time during our operating hours and will be admitted at the next available timeslot.
We strive to keep all our experiences and rides open during your visit, but this is subject to change without notice as they may be unavailable for unscheduled reasons.
All adults must be accompanied by a child (aged 17 and under) to visit the attraction (with the exception of Adult Fans of LEGO Nights).
To redeem a valid coupon code or promotional code, click on the "Promotional Code" tab of our online ticketing window and enter in the code. Then, you can continue purchasing your discounted tickets.
Note: In order to redeem your discounted tickets, you must bring the coupon with you and hand it in to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Admissions Desk.
Annual Pass Holders
Yes, you may use your annual pass for entry to LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio, following the terms and conditions set at the time of purchase and the general terms and conditions of LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio.
Gift Tickets
Yes, you can still use any gift ticket that was issued before 28th February, 2026, provided the ticket is still valid according to its terms.
Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation tickets issued prior to February 28, 2026, will be accepted at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and LEGO Discovery Center sites under the terms and conditions that applied at the time of issuance, along with the terms and conditions of the specific LEGOLAND Discovery Center or LEGO Discovery Center site where the ticket will be used.
LEGO® Insider Program and Store Gift Cards
Currently, LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio store does not operate the LEGO® Insider program. As a result, earning and redeeming points at this location are not available for now. However, we expect this to change, so please stay tuned for future updates.
At this time, LEGO® gift cards purchased from LEGO.com or LEGO Stores cannot be used at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio Store. We understand this may be disappointing, and we are actively working to enable the use of LEGO® gift cards at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio Store in the future.
