Planing A Visit

Adults must be accompanied by children (17 and under) line to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Center. We will host exclusive adult nights for our Adult Fans of LEGO without children!

All children age 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult (18+) and supervised at all times.

For the most enjoyable experience, we encourage you to visit on a weekday afternoon or evening. We are busiest on weekends and during school breaks.

Discounted validated public parking is available at the admission desk for the Crockett Street and the Commerce Street parking garages.

Bring your printed parking ticket to our front desk to receive 2 hours of parking for only $3.

We encourage families to interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play, and therefore visits are not guided. The typical visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.

  • For health and safety reasons, expectant mothers should not ride.
  • Merlin’s Apprentice:  Guests must be 36 inches to ride.  Guests must be 48 inches to ride alone.  Guests between 36 and 48 inches must ride with someone 48 inches or taller.
  • Kingdom Quest:  All guests must be able to walk onto the ride and sit upright unaided.  No infants carried in arms and no lap-sitting.  Guests under 51 inches in height and younger than 4 years of age must have an adult sitting with them in the same row.
  • Virtual Reality:  All guests must be 40 inches to ride.
  • Loose articles are not permitted on our rides for your safety.  This includes purses, handbags, shopping bags, cross-body bags as well as any items that are hand-held.  Cell phones and cameras must be secured in a pocket and cannot be held.
  • Food and drink are not permitted on our rides.
  • All riders must be wearing shoes.
  • Guests in wheelchairs must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle in order to ride.  
  • Service animals are not permitted on rides.

  • Outside food and drink are not permitted inside LEGOLAND Discovery Center except in the case of allergies and for babies.
  • LEGOLAND Discovery Center encourages guests to enjoy coffee and snacks at our Café.

Yes. We ensure that there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center who are trained in first aid.

We are stroller friendly, with family bathrooms with diaper changing facilities.

We recommend closed-toe shoes with socks.  Socks are required to to play in our LEGO City Soft Play area. Socks are available to purchase in our cafe for a small fee.

Tickets

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be inside LEGOLAND Discovery Center at one time. All guests buying tickets online OR at the door will be required to make a reservation for an entry time.

Advanced Purchase - Best Value and Guaranteed Entry

  • Upon your arrival to the Center, you will enter the "I Have Tickets" line at the start of your reservation.
  • Please note during peak periods such as holidays, Spring break and Summer there may be a small wait upon entering the reservation line.

Walk-Up Purchase

  • If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. You will enter the 'I Have Tickets' line at the start of your reserved entry time. The only way to guarantee your entry is to reserve your tickets online.
  • Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. The only way to guarantee your entry is to purchase your tickets on advance online.

Once inside, you may stay as long as you like.

We ask you to pick an entry time to manage the number of people in the Discovery Center. This helps us reduce lines and make sure the experience is enjoyable for everyone!

For the best price, book online at least 24 hours in advance of your visit!

Reserved tickets are any tickets purchased on our website or at LEGOLAND Discovery Center.

Unreserved tickets are tickets purchased or received from our third party partners. Guests with unreserved tickets may visit at any time during our operating hours and will be admitted at the next available timeslot.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. There are 15 minute windows between reservation times to control capacity in the attraction.  This creates a better experience for all our guests! 

We strive to keep all our experiences and rides open during your visit, but this is subject to change without notice as they may be unavailable for unscheduled reasons.

During peak times, you may experience a short wait in the "I Have Tickets" line as guests enter the Center. To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. We can still admit you up to two hours after your entry time and will do our best to get you in as quickly as possible.

All adults must be accompanied by a child (aged 17 and under) to visit the attraction (with the exception of Adult Fans of LEGO Nights). 

You may request to change your date up to 36 hours before your scheduled arrival date and time. To request a date change, please email us at Sanantonio@LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com and include your order confirmation number. Please note that date changes are based on the availability of tickets when you'd like to come.

No, you do not need to print your tickets. We encourage you to select "Print@Home and Mobile Ticket" to receive digital tickets on your electronic device.

No! The timeslot you select to visit is your arrival time to LEGOLAND Discovery Center San Antonio. You're welcome to visit SEA LIFE any time within the next 14 days. The average family spends 60-90 minutes at SEA LIFE and 2-3 hours at LEGOLAND Discovery Center. Please see each attraction's website for complete hours of operation.

To redeem a valid coupon code or promotional code, click on the "Promotional Code" tab of our online ticketing window and enter in the code. Then, you can continue purchasing your discounted tickets.

Note: In order to redeem your discounted tickets, you must bring the coupon with you and hand it in to the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Admissions Desk.
