Effective 28th February, the LEGO Group acquired LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers and LEGO® Discovery Centers from the Merlin Entertainment Group. As a result, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area is no longer associated with the Merlin Entertainment Group and is not affiliated with any Merlin Entertainment venues, including SEA LIFE, and other related locations.
Planning A Visit
Adults (18+) must be accompanied by at least one child (17 & under) to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Center. We will host exclusive adult nights for our Adult Fans of LEGO without children!
All children (17 and under) must be accompanied by at least one adult (18+) and supervised at all times.
We encourage families to interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play, and therefore visits are not guided. The typical visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.
We do not allow outside food or beverage, unless caring for babies or food allergies in children.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center encourages guests to enjoy deliciously fresh foods and snacks, as well as coffee beverages and ice cold sodas in our Cafe.

Yes, we are fully accessible for visitors with disabilities and wheelchair users. We do not provide wheelchair or stroller rentals at our attraction.
Yes. We ensure that there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center who are trained in first aid.
We are stroller friendly with diaper changing facilities.
The typical visit takes 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.
No worries if you are running a little early or late. There is a 30 minute grace period and we are always willing to work with you if you are running too late.

We accept credit card, debit card, and contactless payments. This includes Admissions, Cafe, and our Retail Store. We do not accept cash.
Tickets
To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. All guests buying tickets online OR at the door will be required to make a reservation for an entry time.

- NOTE: When booking, check the second calendar for date & time slots. If there are no time slots available, we are sold out.
- To get the best value, tickets on non-peak days must be purchased 24 hours in advance.
- Upon your arrival to the Center, you will enter the "I Have Tickets" line at the start of your reservation.
- Please note during peak periods such as holidays, Spring break and Summer there may be a small wait upon entering the reservation line.
Walk-Up Purchase
- If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. You will enter the 'I Have Tickets' line at the start of your reserved entry time. The only way to guarantee your entry is to reserve your tickets online.
- Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. The only way to guarantee your entry is to purchase your tickets on advance online.
Once inside, stay as long as you like.
When booking your ticket you will be asked to select a date and time for your arrival. This helps us make your experience more enjoyable by reducing queue times, speeding up your entry in to the attraction and reducing crowding. Once inside the attraction, you may stay as long as you like!
All adults must be accompanied by a child (aged 17 and under) to visit the attraction (with the exception of Adult Fans of LEGO Nights).

We strive to keep all our experiences and rides open during your visit, but this is subject to change without notice as they may be unavailable for unscheduled reasons.
On the day of your visit, after we confirm your annual pass, we will sell you the discounted tickets at our admissions desk.
Please note, the annual pass holder must be entering the attraction with their friends and family. Discounted tickets will not be sold for any future dates.
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on admission tickets. If you cannot make the day you purchased your tickets for, we will be happy to switch it to another date. Leave us a message at BayArea@LEGODiscoveryCenter.com with your order/confirmation number and your new requested date & time and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Yes! If you purchase a General Admission ticket from us, we will be happy to apply the cost of that ticket towards an Annual Pass.

Annual Pass Holders
Yes, you may use your annual pass for entry to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area, following the terms and conditions set at the time of purchase and the general terms and conditions of LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area.
Gift Tickets
Yes, you can still use any gift ticket that was issued before 28th February, 2026, provided the ticket is still valid according to its terms.
Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation tickets issued prior to February 28, 2026, will be accepted at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and LEGO Discovery Center sites under the terms and conditions that applied at the time of issuance, along with the terms and conditions of the specific LEGOLAND Discovery Center or LEGO Discovery Center site where the ticket will be used.
LEGO® Insider Program and Store Gift Cards
Currently, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area store does not operate the LEGO® Insider program. As a result, earning and redeeming points at this location are not available for now. However, we expect this to change, so please stay tuned for future updates.
At this time, LEGO® gift cards purchased from LEGO.com or LEGO Stores cannot be used at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area Store. We understand this may be disappointing, and we are actively working to enable the use of LEGO® gift cards at the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Bay Area Store in the future.
