LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Birthday Parties

• Basic Party Package reservations must be booked at least 1 week in advance of your party date.
• Premium Party Package reservations must be booked at least 3 weeks in advance of your party date.

Our Birthday room can accommodate up 25 Guests maximum.

Only 25 people regardless of whether they are adults or children can be in the Birthday Room at one time. If you exceed this limit, some of your guests will have to remain outside of the Birthday Room. Birthday parents are responsible for determining who can be in the room and communicating this to their party guests.

If you want to add more guests after you’ve completed and paid for your booking, you can purchase extra tickets the day of your party at the door.

Due to fire regulations, open flames (i.e. lighting candles) are not permitted at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City. 

If you book a Premium Party, our colorful LEGO-themed room comes decorated with plates, napkins & tablecloths.

You are welcome to bring any free-standing decorations or table decorations. You are responsible for setting up any decorations you bring and taking them down within 30 minutes of your time ending in the Birthday Room. Nothing can be attached to the walls or ceiling. 

Ballons are not permitted in the building for safety reasons.

No outside food or drink is permitted for birthday parties.

If you book a Premium Party, you are allowed to bring your own cake/cupcakes. You can add pizza, chips, and dip-n-dots to your reservation. These can be added to your order when booking your party online.

Please note that Ice Cream cakes are not permitted inside the attraction.

The pizzas are 16" diameter with pizza sauce and cheese as the only toppings. Each pizza has 10 slices.

• Pizzas can only be added to Premium Parties
• The pizzas contain gluten and diary
• Pepperoni and other toppings are not available
• Pizzas can be added the day of your party but are subject to availability. They do take 20-30 Minutes to be prepared.
• We recommend estimating 2 pieces of pizza per guest.

Yes, whether part of a party or just visiting the attraction, all guests need to have a purchased ticket.

Adult tickets can be purchased for $10+tax each. 

We recommend having the majority of your group gathered together prior to checking in with the admission desk. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate your party in the time remaining, but we cannot extend your time in the private room past the 60 minutes allotted. If some of your guests arrive late, one of our party hosts will do their best to escort all late guests to the party room.

Please bring with you the email confirmation of your order, either printed or you can present this on your mobile device. Other than the above, no need to bring anything else. We’ll handle the rest!

Yes, but all children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

Pick-up after the party can take place in front of the building or in retail. Birthday parents are responsible for coordinating pick up and communicating with any parents who are just dropping off their children for the party.

Birthday party tickets are non-refundable within 2 weeks of your party date, or after the party has concluded. 

During the booking process you can add on the desired number of tickets for the same date of your LEGOLAND party. You will be asked to choose a time you would like to visit SEA LIFE, which could be before or after your LEGOLAND booked party time.
