How to Get Here
We are located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City within the Crown Center District. You can find us along the Crown Center Plaza on Grand Boulevard.
From the North on I-29:
• Take I-29 South to US-169 South. US-169 South becomes Broadway.
• Follow Broadway to Pershing Road. Turn east (left) on Pershing Road and continue to Crown Center at Grand Blvd.
From the North on I-35 (from North of Liberty, MO)
• Take I-35 South to MO-152 West (in Liberty, MO.)
• Follow MO-152 West to US-169 South. US-169 South becomes Broadway.Follow Broadway to Pershing Road. Turn east (left) on Pershing Road and continue to Crown Center at Grand Blvd.
From the North on I-35 (from South of Liberty, MO)
• Follow I-35 South to 71 Hwy South (Exit 3).
• Continue on 71 Hwy South (Exit 2M).
• Exit at 22nd St. and turn right (West).
• Turn left (South) on Grand Blvd. and continue to Crown Center at Pershing Road.
From the South on I-35:
• Exit at W Pennway St. (exit 1C).
• Turn east (right) on W Pennway.
• Turn north (left) on Southwest Blvd.
• Turn south (right) on Broadway.
• Turn east (left) at Pershing Road and continue to Crown Center at Grand Blvd.
• You can also take I-75 North and get off at exit 84B. Then, make a right on Baldwin.
From the South on 71 Hwy:
• Take 71 Hwy North to 22nd St. Exit at 22nd St. and turn left (West.)
• Turn left (south) on Grand Blvd. and follow to Crown Center at Pershing Rd.
From the West on I-70:
• Take I-70 East to I-670.
• Exit I-670 on to I-35 South (exit 2T).
• Exit I-35 South at 20th Street (exit 1D) and Turn left (East) on 20th Street.
• Turn right (South) on Grand and continue to Crown Center at Pershing Road.
From the East on I-70:
• Take I-70 West to Locust St./Truman Rd. (exit 2Q).
• Turn left (south) on Grand Blvd. and follow to Crown Center at Pershing Rd.
Ride the Streetcar through Downtown Kansas City free of charge!
How to get there:
• Jump on the streetcar anywhere and head South toward Union Station.
• Exit at Union Station for a short walk over to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City! Just turn left onto Pershing and then right at Grand Boulevard.
• LEGOLAND Discovery Center is just a short walk past the Crown Center Courtyard fountains on the left!
• Or, take advantage of the indoor Link walkway and travel from Union Station to LEGOLAND Discovery Center come rain or come shine!
You can access the retail parking garage from Grand Boulevard, just south of the main entrance to the Crown Center Shops. New, wider spaces are available on Level 3A, just outside the entrance to Halls Kansas City store.
How Does Parking Work?
Crown Center Parking uses a new Pay-by-plate technology.
Each time your vehicle drives through the entrance and exit, a camera takes a photo of your license plate and records a timestamp to facilitate the visit. When you drive out, your account will automatically be charged for the duration of your parking session.
We highly recommend either visiting https://metropolis.io/join or scanning the QR code in the garage to set up your account prior to visiting our attraction in order to save time in admissions during your visit.

Accessibility for Guests with Disabilities
A limited number of courtesy wheelchairs are available at Crown Center Customer Service on Level 2 of the Crown Center Shops. Handicapped-accessible parking is available on Levels 2A and 3A of the Crown Center Shops parking garage. Two parking spaces for oversized vans are available on the 25th Street entrance to the parking garage on the east side of Grand (by The American). Additionally, two handicapped parking spaces are available on Grand Boulevard, near the Grand Boulevard entrance of the Crown Center Shops. The Grand Boulevard entrance is also handicap van accessible.
Validation
We offer a 6 hour parking validation for guests visiting our attraction or making a $50+ plus purchase in our retail store. Parking validation is located at the admissions desk or the retail check out.
Please note that you can only use one parking validation. Parking validations will not stack.
What Is The Best Place To Park?
We recommend parking in any of the Crown Center Garages. Garage entrance P2 and P3 are the closest to our entrance.
If you have an oversized vehicle (over 6’5”) that will not fit in the garage you will need to park either on the street or at union station. Please note that we cannot validate parking for street parking or union station.
Parking Fees
During special events in the area, validated parking may be unavailable, and flat-rate parking fees will be required when entering the Crown Center retail garages. No validation can be provided during these events.
If you don’t scan validation or are in the garage for longer than your validation covers, standard parking rates apply.
